Perfect Pad Thai with B-Spicy Pad-Thai Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 200g rice noodles
  • 2-3 tbsp B-Spicy Pad-Thai Sauce
  • 200g protein of choice (chicken, shrimp, or tofu)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup bean sprouts
  • 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup crushed peanuts
  • 1 lime, cut into wedges
  • 2 tbsp vegetable or peanut oil
  • 3 tbsp water
  • Optional: Red chili flakes, cilantro, extra lime wedges for garnish

Directions:

  1. Prepare Noodles:
    Soak rice noodles in warm water for 20-30 minutes until soft. Drain and set aside.

  2. Cook Protein:
    Heat 1 tbsp oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat. Add your protein (chicken, shrimp, or tofu) and cook until done. Remove and set aside.

  3. Scramble Eggs:
    In the same pan, add more oil if needed. Crack in the eggs and scramble until fully cooked.

  4. Combine Ingredients:
    Return the cooked protein to the pan with the eggs. Add drained noodles, B-Spicy Pad-Thai Sauce, and water. Toss gently to coat noodles. Stir in bean sprouts and green onions.

  5. Garnish and Serve:
    Transfer to plates and garnish with crushed peanuts, lime wedges, red chili flakes, and green onion, if desired.

Tips:

  • Soak noodles until pliable but not mushy.
  • Adjust flavors with lime juice, more Pad-Thai sauce, or fish sauce.
  • Stir-fry on high heat to combine flavors quickly without overcooking.
